The EU’s revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (together MiFID II) will go-live on 3 January 2018.
MiFID II seeks to make financial markets in Europe more resilient, transparent and investor-friendly and is part of a number of measures enacted in response to the financial crisis.
It will affect all businesses dealing in financial services and markets. There will be many changes and one of them is all telephone calls will have to be recorded.
